GrupoGuascor is a global leader in renewable energy technologies, such as, solar, wind and bio-energy equipment and applications. Membertou was particularly interested in the work that GrupoGuascor had done for the remote, rural and indigenous communities of Amazonia (the Amazon rainforest).
Guascor originally began its adventure in the Amazon over 12 years ago with a mere 6 plants in operation in the northern portion of the country.
