Membertou Aboriginal Business Development Services (MABDS) is an Aboriginal company that works in connecting large corporations and Aboriginal businesses (specializing in aerospace and defence) to meet the Aboriginal business requirements called for in major Crown programs.
MABDS provides the following services to its corporate customers:
- Complete development of Aboriginal business development plans for major Crown programs.
- Identifying Aboriginal businesses that can meaningfully contribute to the client’s
acquisition and in-service-support solutions.
- Providing Aboriginal business solutions that meet Industry Canada and Indian and Northern Affairs Canada criteria and terms & conditions.
- Providing Aboriginal business solutions in areas including IT and data management, quality management services, Geomatics and other educational and training programs
Providing Aboriginal business solutions taking into account regional distribution. Assisting clients with liaison with Aboriginal businesses. Writing of Aboriginal business development plans that comply with all proposal guidelines and formats. Aboriginal business plan transaction sheets and tables. Assistance with the creation and verification of the Aboriginal portion of annual or semi-annual reports to Industry Canada.
