Giancarla Francis, Business Development Officer
Giancarla Francis, Business Development Officer, is part of the Membertou Corporate Division where she has worked, in various departments, for the past eight years. While representing Membertou, Giancarla assists senior management to develop new business opportunities, works to create new business opportunities for Membertou, assists in preparing and reviewing business plans to secure funding for approved projects, and attends conferences and trade shows to promote Membertou and the Membertou Development Corporation. She also maintains and improves Membertou’s Quality Management System (QMS) and acts as a liaison between Membertou, its business partners and government agencies.
Francis is a graduate of Cape Breton University (CBU) where she received a Bachelor of Arts Community Studies (BACS) and she is currently in the process of completing her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), also from CBU.
